Version 1-1 Released


Today I released Version 1.1 using Godot 4.4.1. This release comes with a number of fixes to longstanding bugs and issues.

  • Fixed a crash starting on stage 2 when rocket using enemies fire rockets. Turns out when I downgraded version in the last update, it removed a function I was using, and when that function was called the game would just freeze.
  • Put in a final fix to collision issues. With the recovery as collision flag, touching  enemies even at incredibly low speeds will now count as a collision, and the spider enemy will always bounce as intended.
  • Buffed Igor's burst fire mode by removing an unintended cooldown after using the ultimate.
  • Buffed Nautilus's fire rate by 2 to make modes A and B usable.
  • Buffed Rad-Hawk's mode C damage buildup by making it build faster and increasing the maximum damage.
  • Also fixed a billion issues introduced by switching from Godot 3 to Godot 4

Sorry it took so long to get out a fix to the crash, I genuinely didn't realize it existed. As always, lemme know in the comments if any issues arise or if a ship and one or more of its modes are terrible.


After this release, my intention is to port the game to Android with various changes to make the game more mobile friendly. Unfortunately to export Godot to iOS you require a device running it, which I do not have, so Android it is. I expect to release one or two major updates to the pc and web version featuring the last 6 ships I designed and a new final stage, but they might be a little while.
