Update 0.2


Introducing V0.2! Featuring bugfixes, balance tweaks and new content.

  • Four new playable ships
    • Flame-Ingo: flamethrowers, fireballs, explosions and damage over time, oh my
    • Bear: features regenerating health and powerful shots that can throw enemies backwards
    • Nautilus: features an experimental charge trigger railgun that does more damage if you charge it first
    • Legate: features an auto-charging artillery system of three different types
  • Thunderbird redone: No longer just a bunch of health, now features a short-range tesla coil as a first upgrade.
  • All ships that previously had a Speed of 1 now have 2 instead
  • Stage 3 now available: The Dark Forest! Features creepy crawlies and spooky bats, among other things!
  • Improved web functionality
    • Tiles no longer have a rogue pixel row on the bottom of them when not in full-screen
    • High scores are now saved properly and can be viewed in the main menu! (this also fixes the downloadable versions score saving)
  • Other bugfixes like volume sliders not starting on current values and menu backtracking issues.

With 12 ships fully functional, focus will shift towards making sure the rest of the stages get done right, and making sure things play nice and smoothly. Once the next two stages are in place, extra content can be worked on.
