Hello everyone! It's been some time!
Got a minor patch to the game in anticipation of an upcoming project to leave it in a better state.
V1.1 changes include:
- Fixed secret character's energy-using abilities being a little wonky and in some cases breaking the game.
- Fixed Charles' missing tail! It was there one minute and gone the next, where it went I'll never know.
- Changed the spikey invulnerable enemy to no longer be targeted by homing attacks because it would prevent other nearby enemies from being targeted.
- Added back the how to play text file to downloaded copies. It was there in very early versions and I removed it in favor of an in-game help page.
- And a few other misc changes that probably aren't even noticeable.
Changes other than the added file apply to both web and download versions.
In other new, I'm getting close to the point where I'd feel comfortable releasing a demo of the sequel to this game! Mainly holding back because of a few sprite sets that need work and then it's just finishing up the code for the bosses and designing the stages. Look forward to more news of that coming most likely in the early months of next year!
